Dr Roth's Dentist Office

Dr. Roth came to me with plans to renovate her new dental office. We met a few times prior to the work starting, both with the designer as well as the dental staff. Hutchison Designs was hired as the general contractor for this job and did a large amount of the work. The scope of this 1200 square foot office renovation required all of the flooring and floor leveling to be removed, the floors re-levelled, new flooring installed, new cabinetry to be built and installed, and $15000 of electrical work. All plumbing was re-used.

All but two walls in the office did not meet code for having x-ray machines installed in them, so we ended up lead-lining 5 existing walls and two newly installed walls. We re-drywalled the space and painted, and then we got to work on the cabinets that we were originally hired to do!!

We met again with the staff to go over every cabinet to ensure the cabinet design fit well with daily requirements. We decided to change all of the upper cabinets to make them more user friendly for working in the space with open doors, and modified the reception area as well.

The staff are pleased with the ergonomics of the space as well as the quality of the workmanship so much so that I have worked in three of the 5 staff members’ homes as well!
