The homeowners, Cassandra & Peter wanted to turn their unfinished basement into more usable living space. We created a design which maximized the space and gave the family a great, multi-functional area to use for years to come. The design included a cozy space to hang, a legal bedroom (including the installation of an egress window), a 3-piece bathroom and ample storage. With storage being at a premium, we maximized space under their staircase and built a closet in the main area. Of course we gladly installed mirror doors so the kids could watch themselves dance.
This was a very large project, which inspired Cassandra to install all of the flooring in the basement. We gave her a lesson, left her some tools, and she got it done! Great job!
