Anita & Jays 2 Bathroom Reno

This is the third space which we have renovated for Anita and Jay. Anita had a clear Zen plan for this space, and we worked on the layout over a couple of meetings, trying to address both budget and function. We decided on a smaller tub (homeowners don’t use a tub regularly) and went with a threshold-less shower for a clean, modern look. There is no trim in the room to keep the look minimal.

To offer greater storage in the bathroom, we built the wall out 6” behind the mirror. Of course, Anita got 2/3 of the storage space, and Jay has room to spare in his side.

With 300 square feet of tile, routing the shower plumbing around the built-in soap shelf, and the clean lines in ever direction, this is a simple but lovely space.
